The Master of Textiles (M.T.) prepares students for industry positions. 


The M.T. is a non-thesis degree requiring a minimum of 30 hours of coursework. The M.T. degree typically takes 2 years to complete, but may be completed in as little as a year.  The M.T. must be completed within 6 years, and students must be continuously enrolled once they begin their graduate program. Students may request a leave of absence from the program for one semester at a time, with two (2) semesters maximum. Graduate students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA to remain in the program and have a minimum 3.0 GPA at the time of graduation.

The M.T. program is also available entirely via distance education and may be completed on a part time basis.
