Textiles Scholarship Self Endorsement

Criteria

Competitive applicants demonstrate high academic achievement, strong leadership qualities, involvement in extracurricular activities and civic engagement, and an interest in textile-related careers. For scholarship consideration, students must submit an admissions application to NC State by the November 1 deadline.

Once you complete the self nomination form you will receive the scholarship application link between mid-October and November 1.

Eligibility

Applicants must have applied by the early action admissions deadline, November 1, and be qualified for admission to NC State University. All students awarded any form of scholarship from the Wilson College of Textiles must commit to a baccalaureate program of study in the Wilson College of Textiles, but a non-textiles major is not required during the scholarship application process.

All complete Centennial Scholarship applications should be submitted by 11:45 p.m. on December 1.

Following the selection process, finalists will be notified and invited to attend the Centennial Scholars Interview Weekend (usually in February ). The top ranked candidates from the interview process will be offered Centennial Scholarships. The next highest ranked candidates will be offered the NCTF Distinguished Merit Scholarship and the Prestige Scholarships following.
