How did the Wilson College of Textiles prepare you for your career?
With 10 years at NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles, I have had the opportunity to interact with a plethora of the professors and students. Ultimately, this family like structure of the Wilson College of Textiles allowed me to feel comfortable reaching out to industry professionals to start learning what skills were needed to garner before I graduated.
What does it mean to be a member of the Dean’s Young Alumni Leadership Council?
After 10 years at the Wilson College of Textiles and spending much of that time doing things for both the Wilson College of Textiles and NC State, I relish the opportunity to be able to continue doing things for this College and University that have given me so much.
What do you see in the future for the Wilson College of Textiles?
Having spent the later half of the my NCSU career working with PPE, and graduating during a pandemic, I see endless opportunities for the Wilson College of Textiles to start doing more work with PPE and bettering the world with safer and more protective PPE.
