The Wilson College of Textile gave me the foundation of my textile knowledge and helped me network with a wide variety of industry professionals who have helped me start my career and develop my professional skills.
What does it mean to be a member of the Dean’s Young Alumni Leadership Council?
Being a part of the Dean’s Young Alumni Leadership Council means I get to help the next generation of students avoid some of the pitfalls I encountered when starting my career or even figuring out what I wanted to do professionally. It means I get to network with people and hopefully serve as a resource that benefits students and the textile industry.
What do you see in the future for the Wilson College of Textiles?
I see the Wilson College of Textiles growing and offering even more resources to students and exposing students to all of the possibilities and cross-disciplinary roles that are available to them by getting involved in textiles.
