The College of Textiles is particularly strong when it comes to extension efforts; faculty, staff and students excel at working one-on-one with companies in the textile industry and government groups. Dr. Xiangwu Zhang Named Associate Dean for Research

Dr. Xiangwu Zhang was named associate dean for research in the College of Textiles at NC State. Zhang is an internationally recognized leader in nanostructured and multifunctional polymer, fiber, textile and composite materials with an emphasis on energy storage applications.
