{"id":95,"date":"2025-08-23T13:56:41","date_gmt":"2025-08-23T17:56:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/textiles.ncsu.edu\/scholarship\/?page_id=95"},"modified":"2025-09-04T10:38:48","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T14:38:48","slug":"transfer-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/textiles.ncsu.edu\/scholarships\/transfer-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Transfer Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applications for the next round of transfer scholarships will open Feb. 1, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five to six transfer scholarships (ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 per year) are awarded each fall.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"is-text wp-block-ncst-buttons\">\n    \n<div class=\"wp-block-ncst-button\">\n      <a\n        class=\"ncst-block__button-link btn\"\n        href=\"https:\/\/textiles.ncsu.edu\/scholarships\/scholarship-types\/\"\n        data-ncst-lightbox=\"false\"\n                      >\n                  <span class=\"text\">Transfer scholarships<\/span><span class=\"arrow-indicator\"><svg class=\"wolficon wolficon-arrow-right-bold\" role=\"img\"  aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<use xlink:href=\"#wolficon-arrow-right-bold\">\n\t\t<\/svg><\/span>\n              <\/a>\n    <\/div>\n  \n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for a transfer scholarship, you must:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be transferring to NC State from another institution, and&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select a Wilson College of Textiles major in your application to NC State.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The transfer scholarship application is open from Feb. 1 to March 31.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Academic performance at the previous institution, engagement outside of the classroom and interest in textiles and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncsu.edu\/think-and-do\/\">Think and Do philosophy<\/a> are considered in the application review.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfer Scholarship&nbsp;Length<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Textiles scholarships for undergraduate students are awarded for up to eight full-time semesters, or until a student earns their undergraduate degree (whichever comes first).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transfer students will receive Wilson College scholarships for the number of semesters that remain at the time of enrollment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, a student transferring to the Wilson College of Textiles after four full-time semesters at another institution may receive a scholarship for up to four additional semesters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Questions?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re here to help!
