If you plan to take classes at another institution this summer, you\u2019ll need to submit an application to be a \u201cvisiting\u201d or \u201cnon-degree\u201d student at that school. Every school has its own process, so you should begin researching this online early. You\u2019ll likely need to submit a copy of your NC State transcript<\/a> as part of the application process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Use the Transfer Course Equivalency Database<\/a> to see which courses will transfer to NC State from another institution, including NC Community Colleges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n If you don\u2019t see the course you are looking for, it simply means that the course has not been reviewed previously. Please submit this Google Form<\/a> to request your planned course to be reviewed for NC State equivalency. You will be notified by a member of the Textiles Academic Services team once your course has been evaluated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Undergraduate students who are considering taking one (or more) of their degree requirements at another institution might consider enrolling in those courses through the Cooperating Raleigh Colleges (CRC) program<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Through this program, NC State students are allowed to take two CRC courses in a normal fall or spring semester at no additional cost (as long as they are enrolled in at least 9 credit hours at NC State).
