Career Readiness<\/a> is defined as the attainment and demonstration of requisite competencies that broadly prepare college graduates for a successful transition to the workplace. <\/p>\n\n\n\nTo this end, NACE (National Association of College of Employers), through a task force of college career services and HR\/staffing professionals and based on extensive research among employers, has identified eight competencies associated with career readiness: Critical Thinking\/Problem Solving, Oral\/Written Communication, Teamwork, Digital Technology, Leadership, Professionalism\/Work Ethic, Career Management, and Global Fluency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How Do You Become Career Ready?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n The Wilson College of Textiles Office of Career Services is excited to offer T104 Fabric of Success and Career Readiness. <\/strong>This course is offered in both the fall and spring semesters. Open exclusively to Wilson College of Textiles students, this one-credit professional development course will ensure that you are developing the top skills that employers look for in new hires.
