Founded as the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), the Association continues to evolve to meet the needs of those in the ever-changing textile materials industries. AATCC has served textile professionals since 1921. Today, the Association provides test method development, quality control materials, education, and professional networking for a global audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 80 years later, YMA has evolved into the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF), the oldest and foremost fashion-oriented education and workforce development nonprofit in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The FSF supports the career of the country\u2019s most promising fashion students from all backgrounds. It awards over $1.2 million each year to help students succeed in all sectors of the industry: design, merchandising, analytics, marketing and supply chain, among others. The FSF also provides scholars with coveted internship and career opportunities, mentorships, networking and access to the industry\u2019s most influential leaders and companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In February\/March, the FSF applications process begins and typically runs through September. Information will be posted on the Wilson College of Textiles Scholarship pages as well as disseminated through the Career Services Office. Members include companies that manufacture, market, or supply window, bedding, bath, table linens, kitchen textiles, floor and wall coverings, allied products, accessories and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Learn more.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n The ICFA \/ Richard Frinier Design Scholarship was established in 2016 and is endowed by the renowned designer and his wife and partner, Catherine, to inspire design students in the creation of innovation outdoor living spaces for residential, contract and hospitality environments.
