There are many financial resources available for Wilson College of Textiles students to make studying abroad a reality! Typically, students use a combination of resources \u2013 financial aid, scholarships, and personal funds \u2013 to pay for their international experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NC State Study Abroad Office has many resources available online to learn about these types of funding. To learn more, visit the Study Abroad Office\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many students, the cheapest program options may be exchange programs<\/a>, for which students pay their normal NC State tuition. However, there are lots of resources to explore to support the cost of any study abroad program.<\/p>\n\n\n

Eligible students can apply their financial aid towards the cost of any study abroad program if the courses fulfill degree requirements and the student is taking a full course load. There are many opportunities for students to apply to both NC State and non-NC State Scholarships. NC State scholarships<\/a> for study abroad are managed by the Study Abroad Office. Students must complete a separate scholarship application apart from their program application to be considered for the scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: Applicants only need to complete one application to be considered for all NC State travel awards and study abroad scholarships, including scholarships offered by Wilson College.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The scholarship application deadlines for each cycle can be found here<\/a>. Please note that the scholarship application deadline may be different from the program application deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
