Casey Quinn, co-President
Casey Quinn is a Junior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management-Fashion Development and Product Management while also minoring in Business Administration. Aside from being Co-President of TATM SAB, Casey is a Kendra Scott Brand Ambassador, a student ambassador for the NC State Football team, and holds a position on the leadership team for the non-profit, College Mentors for Kids at NC State. Additionally, she is an involved member of the NC State Panhellenic community, serving as a Sorority Recruitment Counselor and is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Upon graduation, Casey plans on pursuing a career in Product Development or Marketing.
Hannah Ziegler, co-President
Hannah Ziegler is a Senior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management- Brand Management and Marketing while also pursuing a minor in Global Leadership and Team Decision Making. In addition to her role as the Special Events Chair of TATM SAB, she is also President of Fashion Group and a member of College Mentors for Kids. As for professional experience, Hannah currently holds a number of college marketing strategy roles. Specifically, Rent the Runway Campus Coordinator, the Campus Media Manager for Bumble, and a former Aerie Brand Ambassador. Additionally, she coordinates marketing and communication for Smashing Boxes, a software development agency. In each of these roles and environments, she emphasizes her values of keeping your word and being a little kinder to others than necessary. Hannah is passionate about building women-centric consumer brands through innovative marketing techniques, and upon graduation, plans to pursue a career in digital or community marketing.
Colby Hopper is a Senior majoring in Fashion and Textile Design, with a concentration in Textile Design, and is the recipient of the Jacques Weber Centennial Scholarship. Outside of TATM SAB, Colby is a member of the Helping Hand Project, a student run club that 3D prints prosthetic devices for children with upper limb deformities. Colby recently interned with Renaissance Fiber, a Wilmington, NC based hemp fiber processor, where she researched and developed a sustainability report for hemp fiber. Last semester, she studied abroad in Florence, Italy at LdM. She is expected to graduate in May of 2021, and hopes to pursue a career in the developing sustainable and inclusive fashion industry.
Sarah Jarrell is a second-year majoring in Fashion and Textile Design with a concentration in fashion design. Aside from being on the TATM SAB, Sarah is also a photographer for Platform Magazine and the secretary of Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority Incorporated. Since coming to NC State, Sarah has been able to be a product creator for Reborn Clothing Co., the Director of Fashion and Design at the Boys and Girls Club Raleigh Teen Center, and is currently serving as an intern at MOBS Fashion in downtown Raleigh.
Becky Koch is a senior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management concentrating in Fashion Development and Product Management with a minor in Design Studies. Becky was a part of the cheerleading team here, at NC State, for the last three years and served for two years as a representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She worked for American Eagle Outfitters as a sales leader on the management staff for four years. Becky currently works at Reborn Clothing Co. as a product maker. Following undergrad graduation, Becky plans to continue her academic career in earning her Master’s Degree and later pursue a career in a Product Development related field.
Anna Labar is a sophomore majoring in Fashion and Textile Management – Brand Management and Marketing with a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. In addition to being a member of the Student Advisory Board, Anna is also a part of Fashion Group and holds a spot on the executive team as a Fashion Group Social Content Creator. Additionally, she is the sophomore representative for Tompkins Textile Student Council and has taken part in Delta Gamma Sorority. Anna also works for a sustainable retail company called Color It Green. Following graduation she intends to pursue a career in buying or merchandising.
Devin Leadbeater is a Senior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Fashion Development and Product Management. His time here at NC State is defined by his involvement, and roles of leadership in clubs and organizations both inside and outside of his area of study. Aside from being the Vice President and Treasurer of the TATM SAB, he is the founder and President of Final Cut Film Club at NC State, an ambassador for the Wilson College of Textiles, a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, an Adventure club member, and a member of the Swim Club at NC State. What remains constant through all of his different passions and areas of interest is his love for community and commitment to success. Following graduation, he plans to pursue a career in either marketing or merchandising with a company whose values align with his own.
Lara Rabinowitz is a Junior with a double major in Fashion and Textile Design (Textile Design concentration) and Anthropology. She has worked as a costume shop volunteer, researcher, and fundraiser for NC State. In summer 2019, she attended archaeological field school in Cyprus. In 2020 she served as a team leader for ASB Alaska. She recently completed an undergraduate research study on the Harriss Collection of Modern Fabrics and is now conducting research on artifact-led textile design. She receives membership and mentoring from WithIt, a professional leadership development network for women. She plans a career in textile design and cultural textile heritage.
Ritika Shamdasani is a sophomore majoring in Fashion Textile Management – Fashion Development and Product Management while also minoring in Cognitive Science. She is also the co-founder of Sani, a South Asian-inspired fashion brand. Through summers spent with Girls Who Code, Kode with Klossy, and then Amazon, she cultivated her interest in technology x fashion.
Grace Walters is a senior majoring in Fashion and Textile Design with a concentration in Textile Design. Aside from her position on the Student Advisory Board, Grace is the Outreach Coordinator for the Greater Good Textile Group and an active member of the Climate Reality Project Campus Corps at NC State. Through her time as a Floor Operations Specialist at Spoonflower, Grace has broadened her knowledge of textile technology and production, while keeping a focus on sustainability. Last semester, she studied abroad in Florence, Italy at Accademia Italiana. After graduation, Grace hopes to focus on sustainable textile design in the home furnishings industry.
