{"id":263,"date":"2015-05-06T09:49:51","date_gmt":"2015-05-06T13:49:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ip-tx-www.eos.ncsu.edu\/tatm\/?page_id=263"},"modified":"2022-08-24T15:41:00","modified_gmt":"2022-08-24T19:41:00","slug":"sab-application","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/textiles.ncsu.edu\/tatm\/sab-application\/","title":{"rendered":"SAB Application"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APPLICATION PROCESS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students wishing to apply for membership in the SAB must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Current enrollment as a full-time student in the TATM Department in either the Fashion and Textile Management program or the Fashion and Textile Design program<\/li><li>Second semester Freshmen classification (45-60 hours) with anticipated graduation date of May, 2022<\/li><li>Minimum GPA of 3.0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Timeline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must submit an electronic copy of the completed application package via email to <a href=\"mailto:tatm.sab.president@gmail.com\">tatm.sab.president@gmail.com<\/a>&nbsp;by 5:00 pm on Monday, March 23<sup>rd<\/sup>, 2020. The completed application package includes the following three (3) documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Resume (1 page) \u2013 please include cumulative GPA and number of credit hours completed as of Fall 2019<br>\nOne page personal statement (see below)<\/li><li>Recommendation from one (1) Wilson College of Textiles faculty member (see below) \u2013 to be submitted to the Office of Academic, Career, and Student Services (Jeff Sackaroff\u2019s Office) or emailed to <a href=\"mailto:tatm.sab.president@gmail.com\">tatm.sab.president@gmail.com<\/a> by the faculty member<\/li><li>Students selected as finalists will interview with a panel the week of March 30<sup>th<\/sup>, 2020 (date subject to change).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Personal Statement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On a separate page, please submit a one page personal statement that addresses your achievements, talents, background, and traits, including previous leadership and teamwork experiences, that you will contribute to the Student Advisory Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recommendation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be considered for the Student Advisory Board, you must submit an endorsement from a Wilson College of Textiles faculty member that discusses the personal skills and achievements that qualify you to participate in this program (Use the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/tatm\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/05\/sab-rec-form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Faculty Evaluation Form<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>APPLICATION PROCESS Eligibility Students wishing to apply for membership in the SAB must meet the following criteria: Current enrollment as a full-time student in the TATM Department in either the Fashion and Textile Management program or the Fashion and Textile Design program Second semester Freshmen classification (45-60 hours) with anticipated graduation date of May, 2022&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"ncst_dynamicHeaderBlockName":"ncst\/default-header","ncst_dynamicHeaderData":"{}","ncst_content_audit_freq":"","ncst_content_audit_date":"","footnotes":""},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<title>SAB Application -
