Every day, students at the Wilson College of Textiles conduct research that makes the world around us more sustainable, safer and more inclusive.<\/strong> Because of the interdisciplinary nature of textiles, they tackle grand challenges in a variety of ways, from marketing and management to polymer science. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s this ability to conduct and apply innovative research that helps our alumni consistently land top positions in research and development (R&D) and academia around the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wilson College of Textiles offers two doctoral programs<\/a><\/strong> and four master’s programs<\/a><\/strong>. With 235 graduate students and an active graduate student association<\/a>, new graduate students immediately become a part of a close community. Classmates become friends and faculty become valuable mentors. 

While our community may be small, our resources and reputation are anything but. The Textiles Complex alone boasts over 200,000 square feet of teaching, research and manufacturing spaces \u2014 including 68 unique laboratories. As a student on Centennial Campus<\/a>, you\u2019ll be surrounded by innovation<\/strong> in both academia and industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Timing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We strongly recommend all students apply before March 1 for fall admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Graduate School provides updated information on the formal deadlines<\/a> for applications for domestic and international students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, please be advised that many funding decisions are made during March and April. While the formal summer deadline is June 25, you are advised to apply early to be eligible for available funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
