When a student selects a minor, the advisory committee must include a representative from the minor field. The minor credits on the Plan of Graduate Work must be approved by the graduate advisory committee member representing the minor, and, in some cases, the Director of Graduate Programs (DGP) from the minor program.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Commonly Selected Graduate Minors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/mba.ncsu.edu\/academics\/mba-course-descriptions\/\">Business<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/design.ncsu.edu\/admissions\/graduate-admissions\/masters-programs\/\">Design<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/statistics.sciences.ncsu.edu\/graduate\/minors\/\">Statistics<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/textiles.ncsu.edu\/academics\/graduate\/textile-chemistry\">Textile Chemistry<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/textiles.ncsu.edu\/academics\/graduate\/textile-engineering\">Textile Engineering<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If a minor is selected, a minimum of nine hours (3 courses) must be taken in the minor area. Some graduate programs will not offer a degree, but will offer a graduate minor. When a student selects a minor, the advisory committee must include a representative from the minor field.
