Dr. Midani has been part of several product commercialization projects and he is a certified New Product Development Professional (NPDP), and an active member of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA). Dr. Midani is an adjunct Associate Professor at the Wilson College of Textiles, North Carolina State University and the Materials Engineering Department, German University Cairo. He is also the CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/valorizen.com\/\">VALORIZEN<\/a> Research and Innovation Center, Managing Partner of <a href=\"https:\/\/intexive.com\/\">Intexive<\/a> consulting, and Secretary General of the International Association of Palm Byproducts (<a href=\"https:\/\/bypalma.com\/\">ByPalma Assn<\/a>). In 2022, Dr. Midani received the <a href=\"https:\/\/textiles.ncsu.edu\/news\/2022\/02\/committed-to-innovation-and-fiber-research-mohamad-midani-12-16-receives-a-2022-distinguished-young-alumni-award\/\">Distinguished Young Alumni Award<\/a> from Wilson College of Textiles NC&#160;State University in recognition for his lifelong passion and innovative accomplishments in fiber research.
