Dr. Yang Zhang develops fluorescent & stimuli-responsive materials and single-molecule methods to color-map and engineer the nanoscopic biological and man-made world, especially nanofiber networks in the subcellular level including DNA, cytoskeleton and cell membranes. We are also interested in imaging biocompatible textile-nanofiber and understanding their nanoscopic structure-function relationships in biomedical and energy-related applications.<\/p>\n
