Matthew Iezzi <\/strong>\u2013 from Gastonia, NC graduated from Highland School of Technology. Matthew has been awarded the North Carolina Textile Foundation Kimbrell Centennial Scholarship to study in a textile degree program at NC State. Matthew creatively managed his high school schedule in order to graduate in three years. During what would have been his fourth year, Matthew joined the Rotary Youth Exchange program where he spent the year in the Czech Republic. He also participated in the Sister Cities Youth Exchange where he spent time in Germany learning the language and culture. Matthew began honing his business skills by participating in a virtual internship with Newtimes Group out of Hong Kong. During Matthew\u2019s high school career, he was vice president of the student council for three years and volunteered with a special needs school. Athletically, Matthew played varsity tennis and was a swimmer.
