Logan Matthew Wyont<\/strong> – from Gastonia, NC graduated from Highland School of Technology. During his high school career, Logan was President of the Technology Student Association, Secretary of the Beta Club, and Junior class Vice President of the Student Council. He represented Gaston County High Schools and the Student Advisory Board on the United Way Board of Directors and United Way Youth Leadership Council. He was a Junior Graduation Marshall and recognized as an AP Scholar with Honors. Outside of the classroom, Logan was named team captain after four years of Varsity Soccer. He also won the state Moot Court Championship in 2011. He volunteered much his time through a Middle School Tutoring Program and was actively involved with his Church Youth Council and Praise Team. Logan hardly took a summer off, participating in Commissioners’ School of Excellence in 2008, Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics in 2009, and taking a twenty-three day journey across America with Teens Westward Bound in 2010.
