Elizabeth Galanti was along for the ride during her brother\u2019s campus tour at NC State when she discovered it was where she wanted to go. As one of triplets from Herndon, Virginia, she\u2019d done more than a few college visits during high school. Galanti cites the energy of the campus and the city of Raleigh as part of what pulled her to NC State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was amazed by the technology here, the possibility of blending an interest in fashion with a bachelor of science \u2014 all of it.\u201d She decided to attend the Summer Textiles Exploration Program<\/a>(STEP) at the Wilson College of Textiles. \u201cOnce I did STEP \u2014 and had my first taste of Cookout \u2014 I knew NC State was the place where I could make my career dreams come true.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n NC\u00a0State\u2019s Wilson College of Textiles program in\u00a0Fashion and Textile Management<\/a>\u00a0provided the interdisciplinary approach she was looking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
