For two decades, the annual Fashion Expos\u00e9 runway show has given Wilson College of Textiles<\/a> students \u2014 and the wider Triangle design community \u2014 a spotlight for their talent and tenacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Organized by the African American Textile Society (AATS) at NC State, Fashion Expos\u00e9 is\u00a0the longest-running student design competition on campus<\/strong>. As part of\u00a0Pan-Afrikan Week<\/a>, the 20th anniversary show was held in the ballroom of Talley Student Union on Apr. 6, 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fashion Expos\u00e9 has always been a student-run affair. Since the show\u2019s beginnings in 1997, everything from funding to staging has been taken on by passionate AATS members and their friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
