Matthew currently serves as the President of the Student Government Association and the National Honor Society. He is a team instructor for Teens Against Tobacco Use, a member of his high school&#8217;s Quiz Bowl Team, and plays for the varsity golf team. Matthew is an active volunteer with the Key Club, Salvation Army, and Winterville Watermelon Festival. He also spends time with a local nursing home to assist with monthly birthday parties. Matthew has attended Governor&#8217;s School, received Key Club Outstanding Service Award, and was voted the Most Improved Player by his golf team mates.
