Ross Shingledecker<\/strong> – hailing from Greensboro, NC, graduated from Grimsley High School. He is a Park-Centennial Scholar, the largest combination offered at NC State University. In high school, Ross was an event leader and team captain for the Science Olympiad team, a position fraught with fun and excitement. He was B Team Captain for Academic Teams and is a founding member of the Literary Club. Ross trained altar servers for his church and volunteers with the National Conference for Community Justice, helping found the Gay-Straight Alliance at his school. He plans to double major in Chemistry and Polymer and Color Chemistry.
