Mansour, an internationally distinguished business leader, entrepreneur and philanthropist, will deliver the commencement address.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>During the ceremony, Chancellor Randy Woodson will confer an honorary degree on Brian Harry, who studied electrical and computer engineering at NC&#160;State. Among other accomplishments, Harry helped build one of the first electronic mail systems for personal computers. The ceremony will also feature remarks from Anna Jump, who is graduating cum laude with a bachelor of arts in leadership in the public sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Mansour serves as the chairman of both the global conglomerate Mansour Group and the investment firm Man Capital LLP. He is also the founder and chairman of the Lead Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides funding to small enterprises operated by underprivileged women in Egypt. Under his leadership, the foundation has granted more than 3.5 million loans supporting women entrepreneurs.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Internationally, Mansour has been appointed to advise the U.K.\u2019s national investments, Italy\u2019s SDA Bocconi School of Management and \u2014 by presidential decree \u2014 Egypt\u2019s Grand Egyptian Museum. In the United States, Mansour previously served on advisory boards for the George Washington School of Business and Coca-Cola.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>He is a member of the Harvard Kennedy School Dean\u2019s Council and sits on the advisory board for the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University.
