The connection that Jasmine Cox \u201913, \u201920 had with the Wilson College of Textiles as a student didn\u2019t end when she crossed the graduation stage. Actually, that connection deepened after she left campus and moved to Charlotte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Cox serves as the director of textile technology programs and business innovation at Gaston College\u2019s Textile Technology Center. In this position, she plays an instrumental role in giving students from rural, western North Carolina the opportunity to earn a degree in textile technology through the Gaston College of Textiles and<\/em><\/strong> the Wilson College of Textiles<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to her day job, Cox serves as a member of the Dean\u2019s Young Alumni Leadership Council (DYALC) within the Wilson College and chairs the DYALC\u2019s event committee. This fall, she\u2019ll become the council\u2019s co-president and serve alongside Courtney Musciano \u201913. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
