I am a returning employee! I worked in The Nonwovens Institute for five years and later in the University Budget Office for five years.

I really missed being in a college where you can actually see and hear what is happening. Being able to walk down the hall and interact with students for me not only means the college students, but also the participants in the short courses.

My position is divided between the Wilson College’s business office and the Zeis Textiles Extension (ZTE). My role in the business office includes working on service center rates, financial reporting, providing information for financial inquiry responses, assisting with purchase orders and assisting with other financial tasks as needed. My role in ZTE is managing the financials. This includes being that pesky person tracking down p-card receipts, closing out the fiscal year end, working with the research office on projects awarded to the unit, monitoring all funding sources to ensure we are in compliance and in balance, helping to facilitate graduate and undergraduate appointments, working with the contract instructor on their contracts and payments, processing purchase orders and other duties as they arise.

The people! I really enjoy working with everyone; having a good team is the most important thing to look for in a job. It is so nice to have people I can count on to support me and that allow me to ask questions when I need to understand better.

I like to stay in contact with my family and friends. I like to be outside preferably by the ocean or in the mountains by a lake. I walk my dogs every day.
