Fundraising fuels innovation and growth and I enjoy the process of connecting donors and faculty to achieve their shared goals.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>Bhada brings a depth of experience to the role, including 17 years working to advance the goals of national non-profits, healthcare organizations and institutes of higher education. She has comprehensive fundraising and management experience, and has raised millions of dollars on behalf of these organizations over the years. Her efforts and those of her teams have resulted in the establishment of scholarships and endowed chairs and provided funding for capital projects.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>\u201cThe NCTF board of directors is very excited to have Carrie joining us,\u201d said Ellen Rohde, NCTF interim president. \u201cHer deep knowledge of professional fundraising and nonprofit development work will be the perfect fit with the strong knowledge and experience the board has of the College and textile industry.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>In her most recent role as vice president for Institutional Advancement at <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sjcny.edu\/\"><span>St. Joseph\u2019s College<\/span><\/a><span> (New York), she has been responsible for all areas related to fundraising, alumni relations, planned and major gifts, and special events for two campuses. She developed both short- and long-term goals which included building the infrastructure of the Institutional Advancement office by employing best practices and board development.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>Bhada previously served as the vice president of development at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.northwell.edu\/find-care\/locations\/huntington-hospital\"><span>Huntington Hospital<\/span><\/a><span> and as the senior director of development at <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stonybrookmedicine.edu\/\"><span>Stony Brook Medicine<\/span><\/a><span>. She holds a master of healthcare administration from <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hofstra.edu\/home\/index.html\"><span>Hofstra University<\/span><\/a><span> and a bachelor&#8217;s degree&nbsp;from St. Joseph\u2019s College.
