Commencement Ceremony Marked Largest Graduating Class in 25 Years

Congratulations to the College of Textiles Class of 2016!

Members of the Class of 2016 received their diplomas on Saturday, May 7 in the Courtyard of the Centennial Textiles Complex.

The class of 2016 represents the largest class for textiles in 25 years with 244 graduates. That total included 212 undergraduates, 19 master’s students and 13 PhDs.

The senior speaker was Abigail Cook of Mooresville, N.C. Cook graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in Fashion and Textile Management as well as a minor in Business Administration.
