Brenda Haitema

Brenda Haitema – from Wilson, NC, graduated valedictorian from Ralph L. Fike High School. Brenda has been awarded a North Carolina Textile Foundation Centennial Scholarship to study Biomedical Textiles at NC State. Brenda was treasurer of Keywanettes, captain of both the cross country and swimming teams, and vice president of her school’s Science Olympiad team. She has also won a gold medal two years consecutively at State Science Olympiad. Brenda attended Governor’s School, served as head marshall, and attended NC Tarheel Girl’s State.
