Denise Abell

Denise Abell – from Sanford, NC graduated from Lee County High School. Because if Denise’s outstanding hard work, she made straight A’s throughout high school and still found time to be Student Body President of her senior class. She was also in Key Club, National Honors Society, Art Club and Mock United Nations. She was also deeply involved with her church in the “Week of Hope”, an outreach program for her community. She participated in both varsity volleyball and track. After completing her senior project on fitness and nutrition, she ran in the Rex Healthcare Half Marathon and placed first in her age group. Denise attended the Wilson College of Textiles’ STEP program as a rising senior, and now intends to study Fashion & Textile Management.
