Meghan Wilt

Meghan Wilt – from Chapel Hill, NC graduated from Chapel Hill High School. Meghan participated in many math competitions including NC Algebra II, State Mathematics Finalist in Geometry, NC A&T University Geometry Contest. She also was a member of the National Honors Society. Meghan was a member of Key Club, Math tutor, mentor to five freshmen, and participated in the Governor’s Page Program, where she gained experience in government operations. She graduated as valedictorian of her class and received the Quintiles Woman in Science award and Thomas J. Watson Memorial Scholarship. Meghan is an avid ballet and jazz dancer. She has also found time to volunteer and to be a camp counselor at the UNC Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. Meghan attended the Wilson College of Textiles’ STEP program as a rising senior, and now intends to double major in Textile Engineering and Polymer and Color Chemistry.
