Conner Michael Metz

Conner Michael Metz – from Matthews, NC graduated from David W. Butler High School. He attended the NCSU Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering camp and is interested in medical textiles. He took many AP courses including Psychology, Human Geography, English, and US Government. Conner was awarded the title of AP Scholar with Distinction for receiving 5’s on every AP exam. He was also chosen for Junior Marshall for being in the top 25 of his class. He is the president of National Honor Society and the president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Conner is a volunteer for the DREAM Team which promotes being drug, alcohol, tobacco, and violence free. He also has played piano for the past 12 years. Conner plans to pursue degrees in Textile Engineering and Biomedical Engineering.
