Kassi Dibert

Kassi Dibert – from Gastonia, NC graduated from Forestview High School. Kassi has been awarded the North Carolina Textile Foundation W. Duke Kimbrell Centennial Scholarship to study in a textile degree program at NC State. Kassi took several Advanced Placement courses, including World History, Psychology, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, European History, Government & Politics, Environmental Science, Calculus, and English; she even received the “AP Scholar with Honor Award” due to her scores on these AP tests. Kassi also received honors as being a National Merit Commended Student, Outstanding Academic Achievement, and Best Free-form Robotics Routine as a part of the Robotics Club. She was the president of Beta Club where she has participated in numerous volunteer activities, National Honor Society, Gaston String Orchestra, Commissioner’s School of Excellence, Backpack Food Program, and Prom Committee. Furthermore, Kassi was caption for both cross country and swimming. She qualified for Regionals in both sports and State competition in swimming. Kassi intends to study Fashion Textile Design.
