Will Huffman

Will Huffman – from Statesville, NC graduated from South Iredell High School. Will has been awarded the North Carolina Textile Foundation Brawley/Beaunit Centennial Scholarship to study in a textile degree program at NC State. Will received an International Baccalaureate diploma and took courses in English, Chemistry, History of the Americas, Math Methods, Spanish, and Theory of Knowledge. He tutored in Chemistry since the 10th grade, and specifically enjoyed his Theory of Knowledge and Civics classes. Based on his GPA, leadership, and service, Will was named a Junior Marshal and earned the IB Diploma Programme 2014 Keystone Award and the NCHSAA Scholar Athlete Award. Will was a Special Olympics Instructor, and a member of the varsity cross country and tennis team. He attended several leadership programs and conferences, including the ISS Leadership Conference and the IB World Conference. Will has a passion for skiing and is a ski instructor and volunteer, and he also assists with ski programs for the Special Olympics. Will intends to study Polymer Color Chemistry with a Medical Concentration.
