Maggie Kimmett ’23, Textile Design in the World of Corporate Homeware 

A comforting connection to her childhood home fueled an interest in homeware. Now this textile design graduate is designing soft decor products for Kohl’s.

Innovative Flex Factory to Serve Students, Industry Partners Under One Roof

Slated for construction in early 2025, this state-of-the-art facility will combine the Wilson College of Textiles Prototype Lab and the Senior Design Lab in one space.

William Barefoot Wove His Legacy of Education

After 25 years of managing the Weaving Lab at the Wilson College of Textiles, Barefoot is hanging up his safety glasses for good.
