Two Outstanding Graduates Recognized with 2023 Distinguished Young Alumni Awards

In recognition of their exceptional professional and personal achievements, graduates Devon Person ’10 and Monica Warsaw ’12 have been named the recipients of the college’s 2023 Distinguished Young Alumni Awards.

Devon Person ’10 Named a Distinguished Young Alumni Award Recipient

In recognition of his career achievements, service to the textile industry and community involvement, Devon Person — a 2010 textile engineering graduate — was honored with a 2023 Distinguished Young Alumni Award.

Undergraduate Researches Clean Energy, Gains Hands-On Experience

Textile engineering Senior Aidan Lim spent the summer working with Assistant Professor Mengmeng Zhu in her research on lithium-ion battery life prediction as part of the Research Experience for Undergraduates.

Wilson College of Textiles Students Develop More Sustainable PPE

A group of NC State University seniors partnered with Pine Bluff Arsenal to choose a new material for coveralls worn by members of the U.S. Army.
