As president of the North Carolina Textile Foundation, Charles S. Heilig III serves as a way to give back. NC State's Wilson College of Textiles provided Heilig with a path that led him to where he is today: president and chief executive officer of Parkdale, a global leader in yarn manufacturing.

Meet the Members of the Dean’s Young Alumni Leadership Council

A group of recent graduates is helping to shape the NC State Wilson College of Textiles as they give back to their alma mater. The Dean’s Young Alumni Leadership Council was established with 12 members in 2017; over the past year, members have worked to support the College in myriad ways, from volunteering their time at events to creating internship opportunities for current students.

As the new assistant director of annual giving and prospect development for the North Carolina Textile Foundation (NCTF), she engages with young alumni every day to boost support for the College of Textiles at NC State.

Mike Hale [TE, 1972] received the 2016 Distinguished Alumni Award for the College of Textiles on Oct. 27. Mike, a leader in the nonwovens industry. serves on the board of directors of the North Carolina Textile Foundation (NCTF) and supports students through an endowment he established with his wife Jean.
