Anna Koel

Anna Koel – from Roanoke, VA graduated from Northside High School. Anna has been awarded the North Carolina Textiles Foundation Hayes Centennial Scholarship to study in a textile degree programs at NC State. She was a Head Junior Marshall and received four academic seals on her diploma. Anna held leadership roles in clubs such as the Spanish Club and the National honor Society. She has been dancing for fourteen years and participated in numerous musical productions. Anna was in marching band where she held the position of Drum Major for two years, and during her senior year, earned the title of Homecoming Queen. During any spare time, she enjoyed doing mission work, traveling, and working as an intern for the Miss Virginia Pageant. Anna also attended the Summer Textile Exploration Program (STEP) through the Wilson College of Textiles during the summer between her junior and senior years in high school. Anna intends to study Fashion Textile Management.
