ORNL’s 2022 Top 10 Science Achievements at SNS and HFIR

Oak Ridge National Laboratory
The Oak Ridge National Library named researchers from the Wilson College of Textiles to their list of top 10 science achievements at the Spallation Neutron Source and High Flux Isotope Reactor. The researchers used neutrons at HFIR to identify a special wicking mechanism in a type of cotton yarn that allows the fibers to control the flow of liquid across certain strands.
