TPACC Collaborates With Firefighters As New Foams Enter Market

As stations make the switch to biodegradable foams, the Wilson College’s Milliken Textile Protection and Comfort Center is working with several organizations to teach firefighters how to use the new foams effectively.

A group of seniors from the Wilson College of Textiles teamed up with the founder of Duke University’s ALS Clinic, Richard Bedlack, to create a collection that was both stylish and accommodating for patients with limited mobility.
