Meet Young Alumna Karen Middleton ’17

For Karen Middleton, the Wilson College of Textiles was a perfect fit for her continued education. With a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Maryland, and previous experience in the U. S. Middleton sought to further her skills in business and technology with a master’s degree in textiles at NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles.

Meet Young Alumna Courtney Oswald

After experiencing the Summer Textile Exploration Program (STEP) program as a high schooler, Courtney Oswald chose the Wilson College of Textiles and never looked back. As a student, she participated in numerous extracurricular activities, forged great relationships and created amazing memories. She received a B.S. in Textile Engineering, then continued her studies for another semester to earn her Master’s in Textile Engineering.

A STEP Above: Young Alumna Cassia Lewis ‘13

A second generation alumna of the Wilson College of Textiles, Cassia Lewis practically grew up at NC State, biking around campus and cheering on the Wolfpack at football games with her father, who graduated from the Textile Engineering program in 1994.
