Business Administration or Business Entrepreneurship Minor for FTM

TATM Policy on FTM Students Earning a Minor in Business Administration or Business Entrepreneurship

The TATM department has outlined the following policy regarding courses required for the major and minor.

Note: The Business Administration and Business Entrepreneurship minors are housed within the Poole College of Management. To see information about enrolling in Poole College courses, visit Poole College of Management. Admission to the minors may be competitive and requires an application through the CODA process.

Important Note Regarding Your Degree Audit

FTM students who choose to double count minor courses as FTM Electives will need to ask their Textiles Academic Advisor to manually move these courses in place of the FTM Electives on their degree audit. These courses do not pull automatically and they will ONLY double count for students who have officially declared their Business minor.

Interested in Studying Abroad?

FTM students who are considering a study abroad program might want to consider the following information.

  • Many of the recommended study abroad programs for FTM majors allow you the option to take FTM electives at the host institution. In this case, you may not want to double count your Minor courses to fill FTM electives. Discuss this with your Textiles Academic Advisor.

The Poole College of Management offers several summer study abroad programs that might help you satisfy your Minor Requirements. See details and programs on the Poole College website.
