2023-2024 TATM Student Advisory Board
President – Olivia Cormaci
Olivia Cormaci is a Junior Majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing. Olivia is a part of the Wilson College Ambassador Program along with being the President of the TATM Student Advisory Board. Since being a part of the Ambassador program she has been able to help with events such as Open House and high school outreach programs. She has also worked as an intern for Little Words Project and Mohawk! After graduation, Olivia hopes to be involved in a sustainably led textile company in a role focused on supply chain management or merchandising. Olivia is passionate about fashion and increasing education relating to sustainable business practices.
Vice President – Meredith Gaskill
Meredith Gaskill is a senior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. She is enrolled in the M.S. Textiles degree through the Accelerated Bachelor/Masters program offered by the Wilson College of Textiles. Meredith is a Park-Centennial Scholar, an ambassador for Wilson College, the Vice President of the student advisory board, and a pack abroad ambassador. She studied abroad in Florence, Italy during the Spring 2022 semester! Upon graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in brand marketing or consumer behavior and business consulting. She absolutely loves the Wilson College of Textiles and is excited to serve on the Student Advisory Board.
Social Media Chair – Nicole Miccia
Nicole Micchia is a Junior studying Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. Nicole is a recipient of the Syd. B Alexander Scholarship through the Wilson College of Textiles. Along with serving on the TATM Student Advisory Board as Social Media Chair, she is also the Alumnae Relations Chairman for the Iota Phi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha, and is a member of the National Retail Federation. She is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2025 and upon graduation, hopes to continue her passion for textiles by pursuing a marketing or merchandising career in the industry. Nicole is thrilled to continue to serve on the TATM Student Advisory Board.
Special Events Chair – Katelyn Cooper
Katelyn Cooper is a Junior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management, with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing, and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. Katelyn is a member of AATCC, Greater Good Textile Group and the National Retail Federation at NC State. Participating in these organizations has given perspective into various aspects of the industry. Through the Greater Good Textile Group, she has had the opportunity to collaborate with events such as the Sustainable Business Forum and the Clothing Swap. Katelyn is passionate about textiles, marketing, and sustainability. Upon graduation, Katelyn hopes to assist a sustainable focused company in a digital marketing and consumer behavior role. Katelyn is excited to serve as Special Events Chair on the TATM Student Advisory Board in the Wilson College of Textiles.
Recruitment Chair – Gracey Ripley
Gracey Ripley is a junior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing and a minor in business administration. She is also a class of 2025 Centennial scholar, employed with the North Carolina Textile Foundation, and apart of a TATM research team as an undergraduate research assistant. Gracey also currently interns as a Product Marketing intern with Glen Raven’s Trivantage division. Within the Wilson College, she is the Recruitment Chair for the TATM SAB and the Community Service Chair for the Tompkins Textile Student council. She also serves as the director of fundraising for Delta Gamma at NC State. Gracey is expected to graduate in the fall of 2024 and hopes to pursue a career in the marketing and sales of textile goods. She is excited to be a member of the TATM Student Advisory Board and to expand her knowledge of the textile industry.
Elyse Boldizar
Elyse Boldizar is a junior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing. Elyse is a keyholding manager at Anthropologie in Raleigh, NC. She is also a member of the digital marketing team for Platform, NC State University’s fashion magazine. Additionally she is involved in organizations like the National Retail Foundation and the Wilson College’s textile sustainability club, Greater Good. She is also a member of NC State University’s Scholars Program. She expects to graduate in the spring of 2025 and hopes to pursue a career in fashion marketing and merchandising. Elyse is beyond excited to serve on the Student Advisory Board.
Heidi Coppa
Heidi Coppa is a junior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Fashion Development and Product Management. Heidi makes the monthly newsletter for the Zeis Textile Extension. She is also the President of Earth, Wind, and Yarn at NC State: the first fiber arts hobby club on campus. She expects to graduate in the spring of 2025 and hopes to become a technical designer. Heidi is passionate about making clothes personal and long lasting. She is looking forward to working with the special events committee to plan some exciting events and connection opportunities!
Shelbi Coffey
Shelbi Coffey is a junior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship. She is also currently in the process of enrolling in the Accelerated Bachelor/Masters program offered by the Wilson College of Textiles to pursue a Masters of Textiles. Alongside being a member of the TATM Student Advisory Board, Shelbi is a member of Phi Psi Textile Fraternity and a Sales Assistant at Tom James Clothiers, allowing her to build connections and professional experience in the textile industry. She is expected to graduate in May of 2025 and plans to pursue a career in buying or digital marketing of textile goods. Shelbi looks forward to serving as a member of the Student Advisory Board to gain more experience and knowledge of the industry!
Hannah Gillispie
Hannah Gillispie is junior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Product Development and a minor in business administration. Alongside being a member of the TATM Student Advisory Board, Hannah is a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority where she serves as Chapter President. She is a member of the university Scholars Program and currently serves as an interior design intern for Design by Tula LLC. She is expected to graduate in May of 2025 and plans to pursue a career in interior design or fashion product development. Hannah looks forward to serving as a member of the Student Advisory Board to expand her knowledge of the industry.
Sneha Rani
Sneha Rani is a third-year Ph.D. candidate in Textile and Technology Management, and she is also pursuing a Master’s in Statistics at North Carolina State University. Her core competency lies in finding data-based insights using machine learning predictive modeling for marketing and consumer insights problems in the textile industry. Currently, she is working on multiple research projects centered around inclusivity and sustainability in the textile industry. One of her exciting projects involves understanding senior citizens’ perspectives toward adaptive clothing brands’ social media marketing strategies. Her goal is to contribute to social good through her research and analytical skills. She is excited to serve on the Student Advisory Board and give back to the Wilson College of Textiles.
Lauren Ramos
Lauren Ramos is a junior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing. Lauren is a first generation college student and a Pack Promise Scholar. She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority where she is currently on the cabinet and holds the role of Online Media Director. When not in Raleigh, Lauren works with her mother in her women’s clothing boutique, where she helps with buying, social media, and working with clientele. She is expected to graduate in Spring of 2025. After graduation, Lauren plans to pursue a career in buying or online media marketing, planning to eventually take over her mother’s business. She is excited to work closer with Wilson College!
Claire Scadron
Claire Scadron is a junior majoring in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Product Development and a minor in Sustainable Materials and Technology. Not only is Claire a part of the TATM Student Advisory Board, but is a member of Phi Psi, the textile fraternity and is the Marketing Chair for Chi Omega Sorority. She is expected to graduate in May of 2025, where she plans to pursue a career in fashion product development with a key focus in sustainability. Claire is passionate for the Wilson College and spreading awareness of the importance of sustainability in textiles. She is eager to give back to her school and gain industry experience!
Ariyana Marshall
Ariyana Marshall is a junior majoring in Fashion & Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Management and Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. She is a Hope Textile Scholar within the Wilson College of Textiles, and works in the Zeis Textile Extension. Ariyana serves as a member of the African American Textile Society as the Fashion Show Chair, she helps with planning NC State’s longest running fashion show. Ariyana is an entrepreneur who owns her very own business, and is passionate about becoming a luxury stylist after graduating in the spring of 2025. She is very excited to be serving as a member on the TATM Student Advisory Board and looks forward to expanding her textile industry connections within the Wilson College of Textiles!
