Personal and professional development experience with Belk 🩵
Alexis DeCastro (FTM-FDPM ‘27) was selected alongside 11 other talented students from across the country to participate in Belk’s Freshman Diversity Program! Thanks to the program she learned more about retail, merchandising, buying/planning and e-commerce. The experience offered the chance to attend panels, workshops and a networking event with current Belk employees!
DeCastro’s favorite part of the experience was participating in a visual merchandising activity where she created an in-store presentation strategy to display in Belk stores!
