Our April 19 TEXDay is open for high school classes, groups and clubs across North Carolina that have a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) focus. During this event, students will take a deeper dive into our Textile Engineering, Chemistry and Science (TECS) degree programs, including Polymer and Color Chemistry, Textile Engineering and Textile Technology.
TEXday allows high school teachers across North Carolina to bring their classes to visit the Wilson College of Textiles. Students will learn more about our world-renowned degree programs and scholarship opportunities, tour our facilities, and be challenged with textiles-related activities! TEXday is designed for all classes associated with Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM).
All Visitors are required to wear closed-toed shoes in our labs. For any questions, please contact textiles-recruitment@ncsu.edu.
