The circle skirt project took on a new form this year!
Each year, first-year fashion and textile design students complete a circle skirt project to introduce them to computer-aided design (CAD) software. This year, the students got the opportunity to try out these concepts on a dress.

Inspired by her parents’ study abroad stories, Athalia Windham (TE ‘27) took the leap across the pond to create memories of her own.
Athalia studied abroad this past spring in Prague through the Spring Classic program. She took classes related to her major, but also explored her interests in architecture and design.
“I am now looking at graduate school programs in Germany and Sweden, which is something that I never would have done before going on this trip,” she says.
