This non-thesis degree is geared towards professionals already in the industry looking to advance their career or learn new skills, or emerging professionals wishing to build a strong foundation from which they can launch a career. 

Students graduate from our M.T. program prepared for a wide variety of roles in the textile industry, from leadership to research and development.

One-on-one graduate research mentoring helps students develop their potential for technical and analytical skills. Research focus areas include: fashion and textile design, retail and brand management, textile technology, textile management.

A flexibility in coursework and program length means that our M.T. program adjusts to fit your life – not the other way around. The degree requires 30 hours of coursework that can be completed online, in-person or some combination of the two. Additionally, while our M.T. typically takes two years to complete for students not enrolled in our Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s program, students can take up to six years if they would like to lighten their course load.
