Corynn Kilar
Bio
Corynn Kilar, Director of Philanthropy for the North Carolina Textile Foundation at NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles, is a development professional with more than nine years of experience in higher education advancement. Corynn joined the Foundation in September 2024. Her role includes advancing the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University through engagement, partnership, and philanthropy, leveraging the generosity of alumni, friends, and partners across the Carolinas and the US. Originally from California, Corynn moved to NC to attend Wake Forest University as a part of their first generation scholars program. Corynn began her career in fundraising at Wake Forest University and then worked for UNC School of the Arts as a Major Gifts Officer. She has been a member of the Wolfpack since 2021, having served as a regional Director of Philanthropy for NC State in Charlotte and South Carolina. Corynn enjoys spending time with her husband, Anthony, their daughter, and two (loud, but cute) rescue hound dogs.
