M.S. Textiles

Research and coursework to help you meet your career goals:

Our Master of Science in Textiles degree builds a foundation for leadership and upper management positions in the textile industry, research and development, new product development and more.

Through this on-campus program, our students develop their potential for research, technical and analytical skills. They receive one-on-one graduate research mentoring.

The M.S. Textiles degree requires 36 hours of coursework.  Students must also complete a thesis and typically choose to focus in the areas of fashion and textile design, retail and brand management, textile technology or brand management. Many students also choose to pursue a doctoral degree after graduating from this program.

A flexibility in coursework and program length means that our M.S. Textiles program adjusts to fit your life – not the other way around. While our M.S. Textiles typically takes two years to complete for students not enrolled in our Accelerated Bachelor’s/Master’s program, students can take up to six years if they would like to lighten their course load.
