Yang Liu
Bio
Dr. Liu is an assistant research professor at the Wilson College of Textiles, North Carolina State University. Before joining the NC State, Dr. Liu was a research fellow at the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) leading multiple government and industrial funded research projects. Dr. Liu obtained her Ph.D degree from Donghua University, and her research interests include textile materials and textile design, polymer materials, textile inspection, textile recycling, fiber reinforced composites, etc. Dr. Liu has published more than 20 papers and patents. She has won the R&D 100 Awards, Gold Medal at the International Exhibition of Invention in Geneva, Gold Medal at Shanghai College Student Technology Invention Cup, Best Paper Award of the National Doctoral Conference, etc.
